Specialized Exos Road Cycling Shoes

At just 150 grams, the S-Works EXOS is the lightest cycling shoe, with a Boa® dial, ever produced. Not only are they ridiculously light, but they still have all the features synonymous with the S-Works label. They are still World Tour level, but ridiculously light.

To reduce the weight to 150 grams, and without loss of power transfer, we have used all the technical gadgets to achieve that. The carbon outsole has been developed using an advanced form of Finite Element Analysis and pressure mapping to remove unnecessary material. This allowed us to maintain the stiffness known from other S-Works shoes. At the top we completely removed the heel cap. And with a little help from the Dyneema® mesh and a CubicTec reinforcement, the heel molds to the back of your foot, so no watts are wasted. Finally, we developed a new Warp Sleeve vamp that eliminated the hard toe of the shoe, reducing weight and increasing comfort.

Of course, we couldn't do any of the above without our coveted Body Geometry features, such as the Longitudinal Arch, Varus Wedge, and Metatarsal elevation. Each of these features has been ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to not only increase power, but also increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury.
